Resources & Organizations in Eastern WA

Introduction

Gender Justice League recognizes the Transgender, Non-Binary, and Two Spirit people that are residing all across the state of Washington. This page is intended to be a cumulative list of the transgender resources and organizations that can be found in Eastern WA1 specifically, as trans individuals who live in these more rural and conservative parts of the state face their own unique set of challenges finding and accessing resources. The contents of this page are divided2 into the following 5 categories:

1. Gender Affirming Healthcare

2. Mental Health Providers

3. Advocacy and Community Organizations

4. Social and Recreational Programs

Disclaimer:

This list and the WA Trans Wiki is volunteer and community run, intended to be a tentative and ever-expanding set of resources. If you would like to make any contributions or suggestions, please leave a comment in the discussion tab below or reach out at info@genderjusticeleague.org.

Notes

1For the purposes of this wiki, Eastern WA will be defined as any place that is located East of the Cascade Mountain Range.

2Categories have been further organized by city-regions, rather than by county, as resources available in Eastern WA are heavily concentrated to urban centers. Initially only the regions of Spokane and the Tri Cities (Richland, Kennewick, and Pasco have been covered. If you preside in another area of the state not accounted for and would like the share information and resources located there then please do! We will definitely be happy to add them to the list ^_^
